Description

At this mindful birding event, Autumn Knepp will introduce concepts and skills used in mindful birding, a practice of observing birds with the intention to build a stronger connection to the natural world. You’ll then take a calm guided walk on the grassy trails to observe birds and other natural phenomena. You’ll learn how and why mindful birding is so powerful, plus begin building the skills of careful observation and deep focus on the natural world. Expect to find yourself enthralled by calls of migrating birds and the beauty of Bald Eagle creek flowing nearby!

Recommended gear includes binoculars, but they are not necessary. Be prepared for the weather conditions by wearing appropriate clothing, bringing at least 32oz of water, plus wearing sunscreen and insect repellent.

Registration is required and opens one week in advance!
