About This Destination
The Big Flat Laurel Natural Area hosts numerous vistas for the intrepid explorer, see the sights along this section of the well-maintained Mid State Trail.
The natural area encompasses 184 acres of forest protecting uniquely extensive stands of mountain laurel, our state flower! Guests can take in the sights by vehicle or park and walk along any number of forested trails.
