About this Destination
Climb up the Allegheny Front and look out over the Centre region from one of highest vantages.
Visitors can see the effects of the microclimate the front produces as the fall colors set in much earlier and the types of flora vary drastically than those found in the valley below. From Ralph’s Majestic Vista parking area on Underwood Road, head south, counterclockwise, 0.5 miles on a yellow blazed, forested path with no surface improvements to Ralph’s Majestic Vista, named for Ralph Seeley, local trail builder and historian. Continue another 0.2 miles to experience Ralph’s Pretty Good View before turning around and heading back to the parking area while contemplating which view was the best view.
