About This Destination
The Stone Mountain Hawk Watch is a world-famous site for spotting migratory raptors as they soar along our ridges.
The platform was assembled by the State College Bird Club and Juniata Valley Audubon Society and often has volunteers present from September through December to count the migrating birds. Guests can stop by the platform for a commanding view of the surrounding valleys or continue in either direction along the Standing Stone Trail.
