Nestled within the 7,000-acre Penn State Stone Valley Experimental Forest, Stone Valley is a 700-acre outdoor recreation and education facility owned and operated by PSU.
Join us on a challenge to experience one of the most famous landmarks in Happy Valley! This Adventure Hike begins with a difficult 700-foot climb to the top of the mountain, before transitioning to mellow, rolling trails with fantastic views at the top, and ending with a rocky descent back to the parking area.
