Description

Join Centred Outdoors and Standing Stone Coffee Company for a morning coffee hike through Blair Park!

Parking: Park at the Mutual Benefit lot, then cross Standing Stone Creek via the sidewalk along the Penn Street bridge to reach Blair Park’s entrance.

What to expect:

Check in at the Centred Outdoors welcome table right at the park entrance on Penn Street, where you can sign in and get ready to head out.

We’ll set off together on an easy 0.75-mile walk on the trail. Along the way, our guides will share the human and natural history of the area, including the park’s origin to the chapel and the local flora and fauna that call this place home. Representatives from the Huntingdon Park and Road Association will also join us to talk about the work they do to care for this space.

Around 10:30, we’ll make our way back to the gazebo for a well-earned coffee break (free, courtesy of Standing Stone Coffee Company)! While we sip, SSCC will share more about their community efforts, their commitment to fair trade and bird-friendly coffee farming, and other programs they support. Please bring your own mug (BYOM) to help reduce waste!

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect, and how much coffee to bring! Registration opens September 18 at 8am.
