About This Destination

Voyage deep into Rothrock to adventure in one of the more secluded state parks in our region, Penn Roosevelt State Park. The park was originally Civilian Conservation Corps Camp S-62, Stone Creek Kettle and was one of only 12 camps that employed Black men in Pennsylvania. Guests can take a walk around the small lake and admire the handiwork that is the old dam while in the deep seclusion of Rothrock State Forest.
