This 62-acre site managed by Centre Region Parks and Recreation is home to a variety of mammals\, fish\, amphibians\, reptiles\, birds\, and plants. In 2001\, a conservation easement was donated from Penn State to ClearWater Conservancy to protect the wetland from future development. Whether you are a birdwatcher\, toddler\, student\, or retiree\, a walk along the boardwalk will offer relaxation and education\, as well as an appreciation for the work these wetlands and organizations are doing to protect our region’s waterways and communities. \nDownload the mapped route here: Millbrook Marsh 2026 \n\nParking Details\nParking Information: Park in the main Millbrook Marsh gravel lot on Puddintown Road. \n\nHike Details\nDifficulty: Easy \nHike Distance (miles): 0.85 \nElevation: 36 ft \n\nHow to Prepare for Your Outing\nRequired Items: \n\nSturdy\, closed‑toe shoes for all outings\nA filled water bottle (at least 32 oz per adult)\n\nPlease note: Most sites do not have water‑filling stations\, so bring all the water you’ll need.\n\n\n\nRecommended Items: \n\nSun protection: sunscreen\, hat\, sunglasses\, and lightweight long sleeves\nInsect protection: insect repellent\, long sleeves\, and/or long pants\n\n\nReschedule Policy\nBecause of the frequency and nature of our wellness sessions\, adventure hikes\, and guided outings\, we are unable to reschedule these events.
