Winter Wellness: Medicinal Plants

Registration is required. Registration opens 7 days before the event.
Event will happen rain or shine. This event will include a plant walk, focused on connecting with plants along the trail.
Location Information
The program will begin in the Aerie Classroom which is located at the back of the aviary at Shaver's Creek. It is not too far from the main visitor center, but it does take a little longer to walk there from the parking lot. Participants should arrive 10-15 minutes early so that they can find the classroom. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jennifer is a botanical and visionary photographer, herbalist and flower essence practitioner with over 45 years of experience teaching plant ways in workshops, conferences and private sessions. She holds a BFA and MFA from Penn State University. Jennifer’s life path changed in 1970 when she met Bill Russell, Keith Wilson and Evelyn Snook and learned wild food foraging and plant medicine ways. She continues following her path and is author of Evelyn’s Way: Cleansing and Nourishing with Plants. Her passion is in co-creating with plants as life-long partners for herself and others.
