About the event
Step back in time through the preserved old-growth trees ranging between 150-500 years old and see what Pennsylvania was like pre-colonial times. Visitors will pass through dense pockets of rhododendron while reveling in majesty of ancient trees while on the approximately 1-mile loop trail.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
- Sunday, July 25: Guided hikes and Mindful Drumming at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 28: Guided hikes at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., Peaceful Poetry at 11:30 a.m.
- Friday, July 30: Guided hike at 6 p.m., Nature Card Making between 6-8 p.m.
Difficulty Level: Easy, suitable or modifiable for all ages and fitness levels. The 1-mile loop is mostly flat with with mostly even surfaces and very little elevation.
